ABA Therapist

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate ABA Therapist to join our team at Lighthouse CH. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in providing one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism and other special needs.
Key Responsibilities- Implement ABA Therapy Techniques: Work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement evidence-based ABA therapy techniques tailored to the individual needs of each client.
- Provide One-on-One Therapy Sessions: Deliver high-quality, one-on-one therapy sessions to children, focusing on skill development, independence, and improved communication.
- Teach and Reinforce Skills: Teach and reinforce appropriate social, communication, and behavioral skills in a supportive and structured environment.
- Foster Positive Relationships: Foster a positive and engaging therapeutic relationship with clients, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team: Collaborate with the BCBA and interdisciplinary team members to review progress, address concerns, and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with parents/caregivers, providing updates on therapy goals, progress, and strategies for generalization of skills to the home setting.
- Document Progress: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of therapy sessions, including progress notes and data collection.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous Experience in ABA Therapy: Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with individuals on the autism spectrum is preferred but not required.
