Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodial Worker to join our team at Didlake, Inc. Our mission is to create opportunities that enrich the lives of people with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain offices, corridors, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, elevators, escalators, break rooms, library, kitchenette, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
  • Sweep and mop floors, clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies using a vacuum cleaner.
  • Dust furniture and equipment, polish metalwork such as fixtures and fittings.
  • Wash walls, ceiling, and woodwork, wash door panels and sills.
  • Empties wastebaskets, transports trash to disposal area and recycling to designated areas.
  • Replenishes restroom supplies.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma/GED or 6 months of previous custodial work experience.
  • Ability to carry out simple but detailed instructions, communicate with co-workers.
  • Must possess a positive team member attitude, ability to interact effectively with employees with disabilities.
  • Ability to work in environments with narrow, moving, and/or slippery surfaces.
