Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team, providing patient and provider support through the use of advanced ultrasound imaging technologies to aid in diagnosing and treating cardiac conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and emergency echocardiograms with high accuracy, including 2-dimensional, 3-dimensional, Doppler, Color Doppler, Strain, and Stress Echocardiogram procedures, as requested by physicians.
- Operate various ultrasound equipment, including GES70, GEE95, Philips, and others, ensuring proper maintenance and minor adjustments.
- Conduct pre-procedure assessments of patient medical records to obtain necessary information for diagnostic procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement activities, including evaluation of procedure results for technical quality and accuracy, and implementation of changes to effect outcomes.
- Attend lab meetings and participate in Echo-related conferences to ensure continuing education and professional growth.
Requirements:
- Graduate of a program that meets eligibility requirements for registry/certification or currently holds required registry or certification.
- ARDMS/CCI certification in Echocardiography, with ARDMS/CCI certification within 18 months of hire.
- BLS certification.
