- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, staying up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, demonstrating empathy and cultural sensitivity.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, adhering to regulatory requirements and hospital standards.
- Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and bylaws, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
- Current licensure as an APRN in the state of New Mexico.
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and other relevant software systems.
