Biology Instructor

We are seeking a highly qualified Biology Instructor to join our team at Aiken Technical College. As a Biology Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching Biology courses and providing academic guidance to students.

• Teach Biology courses as assigned in accordance with established syllabi.
• Prepare, review, and maintain courses and programs, syllabi, and instructional materials.
• Demonstrate appropriate course and classroom management.
• Provide academic guidance, assist students in developing personal, academic, and professional plans, and engage in the College's program recruitment, student retention, and graduation efforts.
• Participate in College activities and projects and promote the College through community service.
• Participate in activities that will develop the individual's teaching performance, instructional development, knowledge of subject matter, and/or teaching or subject area qualifications in keeping with the College's mission and institutional goals.

• Master's degree in Biology or related life science or a Master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in Biology or related life science required.

• Additional qualifications may be preferred.
