As a Diagnostic Imaging Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and X-ray machines
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients for optimal image quality
  • Produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, including adjusting equipment settings and using image processing software
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, and participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certification and expertise

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
  • Current certification as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or a related certification
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Diagnostic Imaging Technician in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Ability to travel to various locations, including hospitals and clinics, and to work flexible hours as needed
