Job Overview
As a Senior Level Diesel Technician at Ryder System, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy-duty vehicles. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction and safety, you will ensure that all work is performed efficiently and effectively.

About the Role
This is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday with weekends off. The ideal candidate will have three years or more of relevant work experience in mechanical repairs and diagnostics on heavy-duty equipment. A valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A is preferred, but not required. Main Responsibilities
- Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties, including routine preventative maintenance and basic diagnostics and repairs.
- Diagnoses complex mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computer technology when applicable.
- Completes complex and detailed mechanical inspections and repairs with minimal supervision.
- Replaces defective components as instructed and works unsupervised on most tasks.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Vocational or technical certification post-secondary degree or technical certifications, preferred.
- Basic tools required.
- Three years or more relevant work experience in mechanical repairs and diagnostics on heavy-duty equipment.
- Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A, preferred.
- All other certification as required by location, required.
