Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care, including assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and administering medications as directed by licensed healthcare professionals.
• Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Perform routine medical procedures, such as taking vital signs, collecting blood samples, and preparing patients for exams and treatments.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including medication administration, vital signs, and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification or equivalent required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) also required.
• At least 6 months of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a patient care or clinical support role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment and supplies, as well as stand for long periods of time.
