Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Health Aide to provide high-quality care to our client in Jupiter, Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in caregiving, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a live-in setting.
About the Client: Our client is a friendly individual who requires assistance with daily living activities, including self-administration of medication, personal care, and household tasks. They also have a friendly dog that lives in the home.
Salary and Benefits: This is a rewarding opportunity with a competitive salary range of $175-240 per day. In addition to a generous salary, our client offers a comprehensive benefits package, which includes access to continuing education opportunities and support for professional development.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to our client, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications as directed by our client's healthcare provider
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping duties
- Assist our client with mobility and transfers as needed
- Engage in recreational activities with our client, such as reading, watching movies, or playing games
Requirements:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification
- Palm Beach County Badge (if HHA)
- CPR certification
- Valid driver's license
- 2+ years of experience in caregiving, preferably in a home health setting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with seniors or individuals with Alzheimer's disease or other dementias
- Knowledge of CPR and first aid
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
