Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Avera McKennan Hospital. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a vital role in capturing high-resolution internal images using CT scans, surgical fluoroscopy, and diagnostic radiography techniques. Your expertise will contribute to accurate diagnoses and treatment plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners and fluoroscopy machines
  • Position patients for optimal imaging results, ensuring comfort and safety
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
  • Develop and implement effective imaging protocols to improve patient outcomes
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or certificate of completion from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
  • ARRT (R) Radiography Registry required within 60 days of receiving a certificate of completion
  • ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography Registry preferred
  • Ability to work night shifts, with night shift differential pay
  • 48 hours per 2 weeks

  • Competitive hourly rate: $26.25 - $39.50 per hour
