Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough evaluations to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for clients with speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
  • Providing education and training to patients, family members, or caregivers on rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote independent living.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.

Requirements:

  • Current license as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Minimum of one year of recent work experience as a Speech Therapist
  • Possess a certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association
