We are seeking a skilled Radiology X-Ray Technologist to join our team at UCHealth. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality imaging services to patients under physician orders.

About the Role

This position involves patient care, including reviewing histories, administering contrast media, and ensuring clarity in radiographic images while adapting to a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will be able to prioritize procedural patient education to ensure mutual understanding and cooperation.

  • Reviews patient history, initiates Radiographic images based on physician order
  • Safely administers contrast media or associated imaging medications while monitoring patient condition
  • Responds and reports changes in patient condition as appropriate
  • implements techniques to yield clarity in image, quality control and equipment functionality based on established best practices in Radiology (AART)

What We Offer

As a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary of $32.40 - $47.30 per hour, paid time off, full medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement plans, and tuition and continuing education reimbursement. Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a graduate degree from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program, be registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and possess Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification. You must also be able to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment and demonstrate proficiency in direct patient care.
