Telecommunications Field Specialist

Overview

Enterprise Products, a leading North American provider of midstream energy services, is seeking a highly motivated Telecommunications Field Specialist to join its team. This role requires a strong background in telecommunications systems, with experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide local area telecommunications field support, working independently to support a wide array of communications systems within company facilities throughout the Mont Belvieu area. Responsibilities include installation and maintenance of conventional and trunked 2-way voice radios systems, as well as installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting for various types of communication systems.

Key Qualifications

• A high school degree or G.E.D. is required;
• An Associate's degree in Electronics or 7 years of equivalent experience in the field of Electronics is required;
• 2-Way conventional and/or trunked radio system experience is preferred;
• A network certification such as a CCNA is a plus;
• 7+ years experience in the installation and/or maintenance of telecommunications systems, including wireless data systems, SCADA, and LAN cabling systems are required;
• Proven experience with phone system and microwave communications systems installation and maintenance are a plus;
• Ability to work independently of direct supervision and prioritize assigned activities;
• Ability to interact with internal and external teams /clients to solve problems;
• Physical ability to work in an outdoor environment and safely and effectively operate a motor vehicle.

What We Offer

This position offers a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we offer excellent benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
