We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at DocCafe in Atlanta, Georgia.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric critical care and the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Job Summary

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to advance their career in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct patient care, including medication management, wound care, and procedural support
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to promote informed decision-making and optimize patient engagement
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, diagnoses, and treatment plans
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field; Master's degree in Nursing required
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or advanced practice registered nurse (APRN)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in pediatric critical care; prior experience in PICU preferred
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
