Job Summary

The Revenue Cycle Department at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to manage government provider enrollment functions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful enrollment of our providers in government programs, while also monitoring the impact on our revenue cycle performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Familiarity with PECOS, NPPES, and EPIC systems
  • Management of direct and indirect reports, with a focus on staff production and quality
  • Direct responsibility for government provider enrollment for all providers in our large academic practice
  • Meeting facilitation with hospital partners and other entities impacted by our government provider enrollment
  • Collaboration with facility credentialing and medical staff credentialing teams
  • Monitoring and analysis of staff production and quality, with a focus on process improvement
  • Direct communication with department leaders regarding the status of their providers' enrollments
  • Assurance of quality information maintained in the provider enrollment platform

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or other related field
  • Eight (8) years of management-level experience in an academic medical center, hospital environment, or other relevant leadership experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proven leadership and communication skills
  • Experience in business planning, financial analysis, and/or strategic planning
  • Ability to exercise judgment and make decisions within established policies and practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
