Speech Language Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at Soliant. As a therapist-owned and run company, we offer a unique and supportive work environment that prioritizes patient care and professional growth.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with speech, language, voice, fluency disorders, head injury, stroke, aphasia, and AAC. This is a full-time position that offers a 40-hour workweek with a flexible schedule that can be tailored to suit your family life.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized therapy and treatment plans for patients with speech disorders
  • Administer standardized tests to accurately diagnose communication disorders
  • Establish treatment goals and milestones with patients and their families
  • Document and store treatment plans and progress reports
  • Update patient progress to relevant parties
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in speech and language pathology

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in speech pathology or a related field
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in speech therapy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport with patients and their families
  • Positive and patient demeanor
