Job Description:
The Dishwasher will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of kitchen utensils and service ware, which is crucial to providing an exceptional guest experience. This includes sorting and washing soiled ware, maintaining the dish machine, and performing general/routine cleaning tasks. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and willing to learn and develop new skills. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be self-motivated, and able to work efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities:
  • Promote the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
  • Maintain the dish machine properly cleaned and filled with water per hotel standards.
  • Operate burnishing machines to ensure proper finish on silverware.
  • De-tarnish/polish silver for proper appearance.
  • Clean kettles, tilt skillets, pots, and pans promptly and completely to allow cooks to carry out their work.
  • Perform general/routine cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards.
  • Clean and dry foods to avoid slip/fall accidents.
  • Separate linen from other debris.
  • Perform additional duties as requested by the Chef, Sous Chef, and/or Cook I.
