Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a RN, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care, providing education, and transitioning patients to the next level of care. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
Responsibilities- Coordinate patient care, including direct patient care, patient education, and transitions of care.
- Support professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care.
- Function within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model, which includes accountability for planning, implementing, evaluating, and communicating all phases of nursing care for assigned patients.
- Provide leadership through activities such as preceptor role, informal leadership roles, and quality improvement efforts.
- Delegate patient care according to skill level, experience, patient acuity, fiscal accountability, and adequacy of resources.
- Student or Graduate of a nursing program.
- Current RN license by applicable state requirements.
- Maintains current Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers from one of the following programs: American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Additional state licensure(s) and/or specialty certification/training as required by the work area.
