About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team at The GEO Group. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive mental health services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct mental health interviews, screenings, and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans.
  • Provide a range of mental health services, including individual and group counseling, case management, and crisis intervention.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Document all client interactions and treatment plans in accordance with organizational standards.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a mental health field, such as psychology or counseling.
  • Full licensure as a mental health provider under Chapter 491 (Florida Statutes).
  • At least one year of experience providing mental health services in an institutional setting.
  • Strong counseling and motivational skills.
  • Ability to work in crisis situations and develop clear, concise reports.
