Automotive Painter

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at OpSource Staffing. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint and coatings to truck bodies and other vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:- Apply paint and coatings to truck bodies and other vehicles using a variety of techniques and equipment.
- Read and follow work instructions and painting directions to ensure a high-quality finish.
- Mix and apply paint, and properly handle all painting equipment.
- Clean and maintain the paint booth and surrounding area.
- Work safely in a production environment, wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required.
- Meet production standards and deadlines.
- Interact with colleagues and work independently as needed.
- Previous experience in the truck equipment industry or similar industry.
- Previous work in an automotive paint environment.
- Ability to work against timed job standards and meet completion standards.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Putty Knife
- Sanding Block
- Pneumatic Palm Sander
- Plasma Cutter
- Pressure fed and gravity fed paint guns
- Normal standing, walking, bending, and twisting as necessary to perform job duties.
- Exposed to normal seasonal temperatures.
- Use of hand tools.
- Lifting/moving up to 75 pounds.
