CVICU Travel Nurse Job Opportunity

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled travel nurse for a CVICU position in Augusta, Georgia.

Minimum Experience: 2 years; 1st Timers are accepted

Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics

Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS

General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Post OHS and vascular patients; LVADs; Impella patients

Ratio / Census: 1:1-2; 10 Beds with average daily census of 8

Unit Systems: Epic, Pyxis, SBAR

Scrub Color: Navy Blue

RTO: MAX 7 days

Weekends: Every other weekend unless specified elsewhere

Floating: Yes, as needed throughout the facility.

Call Requirements: Not specified

Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.

Major Holidays are listed below:

New Year's Eve and Day: Sunday, December 31 & Monday, January 1

Memorial Day: Monday, May 27

Independence Day: Thursday, July 4

Labor Day: Monday, September 2

Thanksgiving/Black Friday: Thursday, November 28 & Friday November 29

Christmas Eve and Day: Sunday, December 24 & Monday, December 25

Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.

Aya Offer Information: Once candidate has signed and confirmation has been sent, manager has 48 hours to review the profile/confirmation and determine if unit/schedule/expertise fit. Aya Offer only available if clinical pass within RTO guidelines + meets specific facility requirements.
