About the Role:
This MRI Technologist position offers a unique opportunity to work with a highly motivated and energetic team at Focus Staff. As a travel healthcare professional, you will be working in Farmington, Connecticut, and will have the chance to gain valuable experience in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
- Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes
- Interview patients to explain magnetic resonance imaging procedures and address their concerns
- Ensure patient and staff safety by implementing safety protocols and monitoring patients via closed circuit TV
- Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees
- Collaborate with the Chief of Radiology and the Imaging Services Director to ensure optimal diagnostic quality of patient care

Requirements:
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as a licensed MRI Technologist
- Be fully proficient in all duties required of an MRI Technologist II
- Have knowledge of required protocols in performing complex MRI procedures
- Ability to learn applications relevant to the position
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
