Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service. Our pharmacy technicians are the face of our company, interacting with customers and developing strong relationships with patients.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, verifying medication, and processing transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, verifying medication, and processing transactions.
  • Interact with customers and patients, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Develop strong relationships with patients and customers, understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
  • Process manual claims for third-party program prescription services.
  • Perform other clerical duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager.

Requirements:

  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
