This position represents the gym floor; you are the first point of contact for members during their workouts.

It is essential for this individual to possess a friendly attitude and a keen attention to detail.

The Floor Tech is tasked with the overall maintenance of the fitness area, equipment, and adjacent spaces, including walls and mirrors.


Reports to:

General Manager Job Expectations:
Adhere to your scheduled shifts and arrive punctually for each shift. Arrive for your shift in complete uniform: brand-approved shirt, khaki or black athletic pants, and sneakers (maintain a well-groomed, neat, and presentable appearance). Strive to surpass customer expectations at every opportunity. Establish eye contact with customers. Greet customers with a genuine smile. Communicate enthusiastically with customers. Remain attentive and courteous to customers. Maintain a sense of urgency and diligence when assisting customers. Uphold a positive and energetic demeanor. Communicate clearly, professionally, and proactively. Active CPR/AED certification is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and upkeep of the Retro Fitness outlet main floor
  • Testing equipment for operational efficiency
  • Restocking of products/items
  • Reporting any facility-related issues to Management/Ownership
  • Spot cleaning of walls, mirrors, windows, and diamond plating
  • Re-racking weights
  • Disinfecting equipment and upholstery
  • Dusting of the facility

Adherence to company policies & procedures
Compensation:
$12.00 per hour. With over 120 gyms currently operational or in development across the United States, Retro Fitness provides a variety of fitness experiences under one roof. From traditional strength and cardio options to personalized training programs, Retro Fitness caters to diverse fitness needs. Our gyms feature top-tier equipment and services, including the Retro Blends Smoothie Bar, along with amenities that leave members feeling accomplished and rejuvenated.
