The tax division is on the lookout for a seasoned manager to become a vital part of the Tax Planning team, focusing on quantitative solutions and modeling for U.S. international tax issues. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in U.S. international tax and quantitative data analysis to effectively address complex challenges.

This role offers high visibility, allowing the candidate to engage in corporate restructuring, tax policy, and global controversy initiatives. The position reports directly to the Deputy Tax Counsel overseeing Global Tax Planning and Transfer Pricing.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive quantitative analysis for U.S. international tax matters, including but not limited to earnings and profits, subpart F, GILTI, FDII, BEAT, section 163(j), expense apportionment and allocation, and foreign tax credit models, with the capability to present findings in visual, verbal, and written formats.

- Develop processes utilizing both new and existing technologies to enhance quantitative analyses, ensuring they are repeatable and sustainable over the long term.

- Oversee the implementation of the OECD Pillar 2 initiative and create a quantitative framework to assess resulting tax liabilities.

- Collaborate effectively with the Tax Reporting team to establish scalable systems and process improvements that streamline reporting obligations related to U.S. international tax calculations.

- Partner with tax policy, controversy, and planning teams on organizational initiatives and special projects, including modeling the implications of proposed U.S. international tax legislation and tax planning scenarios.

Qualifications

- B.A. in Accounting, a Master’s in Taxation, or C.P.A. with over 12 years of experience in a tax role within a large multinational corporation or public accounting firm.

- Experience in U.S. International tax compliance and/or tax provision is advantageous.

- Significant experience in handling large and intricate data sets to construct models and utilize data visualization tools for reporting to senior management.

- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and concise written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work autonomously and meet project deadlines.

- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and One Source software, with familiarity in data analytic tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, or Tableau.
