Compensation Package

About the Role
In this position, you will specialize in caring for patients transitioning from intensive care to general medical-surgical units. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and assessing patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and respiratory status in the step-down unit
- Administering medications, performing procedures, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educating patients and families on post-intensive care recovery, medication management, and self-care techniques
- Communicating effectively with healthcare team members to facilitate patient progress and optimize outcomes in the step-down unit
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A current RN license
- BLS certification (and any other certifications required by the facility)
- At least two years of recent experience in the Step Down Unit
- Excellent communication and adaptability skills
