Job Title: Agile Project Manager - Software Engineering

Imagine One Technology & Management Ltd is seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager to lead our software engineering team's transition to a sprint-based, Agile framework. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape and drive Agile transformation while ensuring successful project delivery and alignment with customer goals.

Estimated Salary: $110,000 - $160,000 per year

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Agile Project Manager who can help us navigate our transition to Agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile principles and practices, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the transition to Agile practices, including establishing and managing sprint cycles, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. They will also be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to build and maintain a clear and prioritized backlog, developing project plans that align with organizational and customer objectives, and providing mentorship on Agile practices to drive team growth and performance.

Key Requirements
  • Agile Expertise:
    • Proven success leading Agile transformations or managing projects in Agile/Scrum environments.
    • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) preferred.
  • Technical Acumen:
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with DevOps and engineering teams.
    • Familiarity with tools like GitHub Enterprise and ServiceNow Agile tools is a strong plus.
  • Project Management Skills:
    • Experience using Agile project management tools like Jira, Trello, or GitHub Projects.
    • Strong planning, scheduling, and resource management skills.
  • Exceptional Communication:
    • Skilled in conveying technical details to non-technical audiences and managing customer expectations.
    • Experience gathering requirements and delivering results in collaboration with customers.
  • Leadership:
    • Proven ability to lead teams through change and inspire collaboration.
