The County of Delaware, PA is seeking a skilled Public Health Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our Health Services Office, you will provide professional nursing services to County employees and support health and wellness initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first aid, basic life support measures, and medical information to employees and visitors
  • Monitor blood pressure readings and weight for interested individuals
  • Respond to emergency situations and evaluate and treat employees and visitors
  • Investigate reports of health hazards and document findings
  • Maintain a daily log of visitors to the Health Services Office
  • Evaluate and document employee Worker?s Compensation injuries
  • Assist with annual employee influenza vaccination program
  • Serve on the Wellness Committee and coordinate health initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor?s degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN), issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing
  • Experience in Community or Public Health field
  • Current CPR / First Aid certification
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
