About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join our nursing team at Woodridge Rehabilitation and Nursing. As a vital member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform treatment duties as requested by the licensed nurse, including application of slings, routine patient feedings, range of motion exercises, assistance with ambulation, complete and partial baths, total personal hygiene care, position changes, bed changes, skin care, and assisting physicians with examinations.
  • Document patient care activities in the medical record.
  • Prepare patient rooms and immediate environments for admission, prepare patients for meals, distribute food trays, assist or feed patients as necessary, and remove trays.
  • Handle and care for patients' clothing and other personal property, assist with set up and removal of traction equipment, and take care of fracture room equipment.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment by reporting out-of-order equipment and other problems to leadership.
  • Clean patient care equipment and unit supporting areas, such as the kitchen and clean/dirty utility rooms.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate interpersonal relationships with patients, visitors, and other hospital personnel.
Requirements
  • Current LNA license to practice professional nursing in the State of Vermont.
  • BLS-Healthcare Provider certification within six (6) months of hire and maintained as a current certification thereafter.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as an LNA or related healthcare professional (e.g. EMT or student nurse).
About Woodridge Rehabilitation and Nursing

Woodridge Rehabilitation and Nursing is a 153-bed facility located on the grounds of Central Vermont Medical Center, ensuring easy access to emergency care, diagnostic testing, hospitalization, and medical specialties when needed.

Multiple Shifts Available

We are accepting applicants for Full Time LNA's and for all shifts. Our shifts are typically 12 hour shifts, from 7 a.m. Please indicate the shift(s) you are interested in when completing your application, and we will see what we have that may work for you.
