Job Summary

Greenbrier Health Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN Wound Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality wound care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform all wound treatments, dressing changes, and ointment applications in accordance with center policies and procedures.
  • Conduct routine monthly replacements of gastric tubes and Foley catheters as assigned.
  • Provide trach care and suctioning services as needed.
  • Recommend wound treatment procedures and products to attending physicians.
  • Re-order wound care supplies from pharmacy or central supply as needed.

Requirements

  • Current RN license in the state where the center is located.
  • Wound certification preferred.
  • Current CPR certification required, ACLS preferred.
  • Prior work experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in wound care.
  • Prior supervisory experience in a long-term care center.
