Electrophysiology Nurse Specialist

As a skilled Electrophysiology Nurse, you will play a vital role in facilitating electrophysiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. Your expertise will be essential in preparing patients for procedures, monitoring their vital signs, and providing clinical direction to ensure high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for electrophysiology procedures, including room preparation and patient monitoring
- Assist physicians with procedures, including scrubbing, monitoring, and stimulating roles
- Provide clinical direction for patient care, fostering a patient-centered approach
- Utilize evidence-based practices and research to inform nursing decisions
- Adhere to compliance and policy procedures, ensuring regulatory requirements are met
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of Cardiac Telemetry experience and 2 years of EP lab experience
- SC Registered Nurse licensure
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of office equipment
- Data entry skills and knowledge of patient equipment
