Job Summary

This Radiology Operations Manager position is responsible for supervising and planning the operational aspects of assigned performance centers in diagnostic radiology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare operations and management, with experience in supervising teams and implementing policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with department leaders to develop and implement new policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and manage a team of radiology professionals, including radiologic technologists and support staff.
  • Develop and manage budgets for diagnostic radiology services.
  • Monitor and analyze statistical data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Evaluate and counsel employees on their job performance and conduct.
  • Attend and conduct meetings with staff and managers to discuss departmental issues and goals.

Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with completion of an AMA-approved school of radiologic technology and certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. A minimum of 3-5 years of previous management experience is preferred, with a Bachelor's degree in a related field. Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from the American Heart Association is also required.
