About the Role

Fidelity TalentSource LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer in Test to join our team. As a key member of our Workplace Investing Quality Engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and executing test automation strategies to ensure the integrity, quality, and performance of our cloud data platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop test automation frameworks to validate data pipelines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs
  • Develop and execute test cases to ensure data quality and integrity
  • Work with development teams to resolve defects and improve overall system quality
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve testing processes
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in software development or relevant field
  • 2+ years of experience in Big Data, Data Lake, or Data Warehouse
  • 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or relevant field
  • Expert knowledge of application/software development, QA principles, and agile methodology
  • Experience with data pipeline testing and cloud data platforms
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with Java and Python development
  • Experience with Unix, Bash scripting, and configuration formats (JSON, YAML)
  • Proven experience with software development process, including analysis, design, coding, system and user testing, problem resolution, and planning
