About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a motivated professional with 2-5 years of experience in traffic engineering. You will work on a wide range of projects, from small-scale intersection improvements to complex interchange and corridor projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in traffic design, analysis, and planning, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills. Experience with software tools such as MicroStation or AutoCAD is also essential.

Responsibilities
  • Traffic design related tasks, including traffic signal, pavement markings and signing, roadway lighting, work zone traffic control, and ITS devices.
  • Traffic operational/capacity analysis tasks utilizing software such as HCS, Synchro, Sidra, or PTV Products (VISSIM/VISTRO/VISUM).
  • Safety studies and transportation planning tasks.
  • Travel demand modeling and forecasting tasks.
  • Field work tasks.
  • Prepare traffic designs, contract documents, technical reports, and presentations.
Requirements
  • B.S.C.E with 3-5 years of traffic engineering experience.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with design software tools such as MicroStation or AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
Compensation and Benefits

Our compensation package includes a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and more.
