We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to join our team at Affirmed Home Care. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being and comfort of pediatric patients and their families through personalized, attentive care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, ensuring patient comfort and dignity.
  • Regularly track vital signs and promptly report any changes to healthcare providers to maintain the highest standards of care.
  • Aid in the precise administration of medications as prescribed, ensuring adherence to schedules and dosages.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding, catering to any special dietary needs and following established guidelines.
  • Encourage and facilitate activities that promote physical and emotional development for pediatric patients.
  • Educate and support family members on effective care techniques and the use of medical equipment, empowering them to provide the best care.
  • Keep accurate, up-to-date records of care provided and any changes in patient conditions.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to hygiene standards and proper use of medical equipment.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Home Health Aide training certificate is necessary.
  • Prior experience in home health care is highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with children and families.
  • Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required.
  • Covid vaccination is required.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US.
