Position Overview

The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting HazTek's operational needs. This position is dedicated to ensuring that the necessary safety professional pipelines are consistently filled with qualified candidates who can be onboarded promptly.

This is a hybrid role, requiring one day per week in the office.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the safety sector to effectively collaborate with hiring managers and fulfill staffing requirements.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of pre-screened candidates with diverse qualifications and experiences for designated roles.
  • Engage in targeted recruiting initiatives to attract both active and passive job seekers.
  • Coordinate with Operations to assess ongoing recruitment needs.
  • Conduct pre-screening of candidates based on job qualifications and desired experiences.
  • Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage job postings and candidate information.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Create professional candidate profiles for client presentations as necessary.
  • Assist with various projects and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in high-volume recruiting or human resources, with a focus on recruitment.
  • At least two years of experience in a sales-oriented service role, directly communicating with decision-makers.
  • Proficiency in utilizing a variety of effective sourcing techniques and systems.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry and/or technical safety background.
  • One year of experience supporting a decentralized workforce.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with ICIMS or other ATS platforms.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Positive, enthusiastic, and energetic demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Work Schedule:

This role involves a hybrid work schedule, with one day in the corporate office and remote work for the remainder of the week. Standard hours are generally from 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional weekend or evening work expected.
