Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and experienced High School Spanish Teacher to join our team at Soliant Education. As a Spanish Language Educator, you will play a crucial role in inspiring students to develop proficiency in the Spanish language and appreciation for Hispanic culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Engaging Lesson Plans

Create and implement lesson plans that align with state curriculum standards and promote language acquisition, cultural understanding, and global awareness.

Utilize Immersive Instructional Strategies

Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, including immersion techniques, to facilitate language learning and create a supportive and inclusive classroom culture.

Cultivate a Supportive Classroom Environment

Cultivate a classroom culture where all students feel encouraged to participate and take risks in their language development, and provide timely feedback to support growth and proficiency.

Assess Student Progress

Assess student progress using formative and summative assessments, and integrate cultural elements into lessons to foster appreciation for Hispanic culture and traditions.

Collaborate with Colleagues

Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary units and enrichment activities that incorporate Spanish language and culture, and provide opportunities for students to engage in language learning and cultural exploration.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education or Related Field

A Bachelor's degree in Education, Spanish, or a related field is required, with a Master's degree preferred.

Valid Teaching Certification

Valid teaching certification in Spanish is required, with eligibility to obtain certification preferred.

Proficiency in Spanish Language

Proficiency in Spanish language and strong knowledge of Spanish grammar, vocabulary, and culture are required.

Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, with a commitment to continuous professional growth and development.
