Job Summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As an integral part of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures, including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, and gastrointestinal studies, as well as modality-assisted drainage and biopsies.
  • Complete all post-processing functions, ensuring accurate and timely results.
  • Perform related record-keeping and patient care functions, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Ensure the utilization of established protocols and techniques, differentiating for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations in the performance of diagnostic procedures and functions.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology Program or Registered Nurse Program.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R) or Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), or GA RN License.
  • Advance Certification by ARRT in Vascular-Interventional Radiographer (VI) or Cardiac-Interventional Radiographer (CI) preferred.
  • BLS Certified.
