Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is based in Nashville and requires onsite presence, with no options for remote or hybrid work.

The Junior Estimator will play a crucial role in gathering pricing information from subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers, aiding the Senior Preconstruction Manager in formulating budgets for various projects.

The ideal candidate will also assist in managing subcontractor agreements and scopes, while contributing to Value Engineering cost alternatives for both negotiated and hard-bid projects.

  • Engaged in projects across the Mid-Tennessee area and occasionally in out-of-state locations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Estimating for remodels or new commercial construction projects
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree is preferred
  • Familiarity with the estimating process in a Preconstruction role
  • Basic understanding of take-offs or lump sum bid/estimating processes
  • Proficient in Estimating software and willing to learn additional systems

POSITION OVERVIEW:

  • Support the bidding and budgeting process, including pricing, bid solicitation, and subcontractor scope coordination, culminating in final bid assembly.
  • Contribute to the estimation of commercial construction projects to ensure successful bid outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Operations and fellow estimators to deliver high-quality results to clients.
