Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team at Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical staffing team.

Job Summary

This is a 13-week travel assignment for a Catheterization Laboratory Technologist. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a cath lab setting and possess excellent communication and technical skills.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other health team members.
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other health team members.
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes.
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit.
  • Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required.
  • Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
  • Transports patients as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • One to three years experience as a Technologist preferred.
  • Other certifications may be required for this position.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills.
