About the Role:

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications and performing wound care treatments.
  • Oversee the daily activities of certified nursing assistants, ensuring they meet federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care and promote compliance with quality standards.
  • Participate in admission, discharge, and transfer processes, assessing residents' status and notifying physicians and family members as needed.
  • Transcribe physician orders and administer medications according to established protocols.
  • Perform rounds to ensure resident needs are met and personnel are performing their assigned duties.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating compassion and professionalism in all interactions with residents and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Current unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the practicing state.
  • CPR certification.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
  • 1+ years of nursing experience preferred.
