Job Summary

MedTrans is Medline's private fleet of professional drivers that delivers lifesaving medical products directly to commercial and residential customers. Our fleet consists of 1,500+ trucks featuring newer equipment. We manage a network of over 50 distribution centers nationally and provide 1-day shipping to 95% of the United States.

Responsibilities
  1. Load and secure product from the Medline Facility into a truck.
  2. Safely operate a Class A vehicle between the Medline Facility and multiple customer destinations on a delivery route, adhering to Medline's safety regulations.
  3. Unload and deliver product at customer facilities, ensuring timely deliveries.
  4. Provide in-person support to customers, addressing their questions and needs, and providing appropriate documentation upon delivery.
  5. Communicate with the dispatch team regarding necessary adjustments to the delivery route or schedule to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.
  6. Maintain a travel and cargo log in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company policy.
  7. Perform vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation and sufficient fuel levels.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience.
  • Class A CDL and licensure to operate assigned vehicles.
  • Ability to meet Federal and State requirements for commercial motor vehicle operation.
  • Clean driving record with no serious violations.
