Route Coordinator

Norfolk is seeking a skilled Route Coordinator to support our logistics operations.

You will be responsible for reviewing routes, completing pre-trip checks, and ensuring all necessary products are on hand. Additionally, you will need to be able to lift heavy objects (45-60 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.

Success in this role requires excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to read and comprehend English. Bi-lingual individuals are an asset.

• Operate equipment safely and ensure each load is complete and properly secured
• Be responsible for electronic communication while driving, including GPS programming and assisting the driver with the best route
• Remain alert for changing road conditions and hazards
• Assist the driver in bringing items into customers' locations and inspect merchandise for damage
• Assist with picking up merchandise from customers or vendors and inspecting it for damage

• Able to sit for long periods of time
• Regularly required to talk and hear
• Noise level is usually moderate to heavy
• Frequently exposed to outside weather conditions
• Frequently required to walk distances over 200 yards
