Position Summary
The selected candidate will take ownership of the mechanical design for turbine rear frame components across various programs, both advanced and legacy. This role requires collaboration within a mechanical design team and interaction with other engineering and manufacturing disciplines, including subject matter experts in manufacturing, systems engineering, thermal analysis, and aerodynamics.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute design, analysis, and evaluation of assigned projects, adhering to engineering principles and business standards.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of technical disciplines, leveraging prior experience to implement strategies effectively.
- Utilize knowledge of business drivers to enhance team contributions and integrate efforts with other teams.
- Apply sound judgment to propose innovative solutions while working within established guidelines.
- Utilize available resources to address straightforward challenges and contribute to team objectives.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in design engineering is required.
- Preferred: Master's degree in Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in the aerospace sector.
- Proficiency in ANSYS APDL/Workbench for model execution.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven ability to analyze issues and implement resolutions.
- Capable of documenting, planning, and executing engineering programs effectively.
- Established project management capabilities.
