Job Title: Radiology Technologist

Adventist Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in Portland, Oregon.

Job Summary:

As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for operating x-ray equipment to produce high-quality radiographs of designated body parts. You will work closely with physicians to ensure accurate diagnoses and provide excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body parts
  • Position and instruct patients prior to examination
  • Adjust x-ray equipment and determine proper voltage, current, and exposure time for each radiograph
  • Prepare examination rooms for patient exams and position patients for imaging exams
  • Monitor patients and ensure safety during exams
  • Produce diagnostic images and document exam information
  • Report important information to physicians and verify exams on PACS
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in radiological technology (preferred)
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography (ARRT-R) certification (required)
  • Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License (required)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
  • Fluoroscopy license in state of employment (preferred)
