The Army National Guard offers a challenging and rewarding career as an Infantryman, responsible for taking or holding ground during combat operations. Job training for an Infantryman requires 14 weeks of Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training (AIT), with part of this time spent in a classroom and part under simulated combat conditions.

Requirements

  • Military enlistment in the Army National Guard
  • Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate
