Computed Tomography Technologist

Job Summary:

Bothwell Regional Health Center is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology and experience with CT procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT diagnostic procedures with precision and accuracy.
• Assist radiologists with procedures as needed and provide excellent patient care.
• Draw up contrast material and medications, and start IVs as required.
• Communicate effectively with patients, peers, and supervisors to ensure seamless operations.
• Conserve supplies, monitor equipment performance, and report issues to supervisors.
• Stay up-to-date with continuing education requirements and maintain certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Satisfactory completion of radiologic training through an accredited program and advanced certification in CT.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and CT certification.
• Two years of experience as a staff technologist preferred.

Work Environment:

The CT Technologist will work in a fast-paced radiology department, performing a variety of technical procedures. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
