Job Summary

Lone Star College is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Professor of Sociology to teach courses at various times and locations. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Sociology or a related field and a passion for teaching and mentoring students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Sociology courses to a diverse student population
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote student learning and application of course material
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback in a timely manner
  • Meet with students before or after class, or by appointment, to discuss their progress and provide guidance
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum and instructional materials
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Sociology or a related field
