Aviate Program

Mesa Airlines is a United Express Aviate Program Partner, offering a direct path to United as a First Officer upon completion of the Aviate program and hiring requirements.

Compensation and Career Advancement
  • We offer one of the highest pay rates in the regional industry.
  • Captain upgrade is available in as little as 15 months or less, after 2,500 total hours and 1,000 hours Part 121 hours.
Training and Support
  • Pilots will receive full monthly guarantee pay of 76 hours/month.
  • Training is conducted at our facilities in Phoenix, Arizona.
  • Company-paid ATP/CTP course for qualified applicants.
  • Provided single-occupancy lodging during training.
  • Positive space travel for training events.
Requirements
  • ATP 1,500 hours total time requirements.
  • Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi Engine and Instrument ratings.
  • Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
  • Ability to demonstrate instrument proficiency.
  • ATP Written.
  • FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
  • At least 23 years of age.
  • Current Valid Passport.
  • Able to pass a security background check and FAA-mandated drug test.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read and speak the English language.
