We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Services Professional to join our team at Shrub Oak International School. Key Responsibilities- Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of students' functional, behavioral, emotional, and transitional needs to identify areas for support and development.
- Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Collaborate with students, families, and other stakeholders to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address students' unique needs and goals.
- Provide Mental Health Services: Provide a range of mental health services, including individual and group therapy, family therapy, and crisis intervention, to support students' emotional and behavioral well-being.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with educators, counselors, and other professionals to ensure that students receive comprehensive support and services that address their academic, social, and emotional needs.
- Communicate Effectively: Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues through effective communication, active listening, and empathy.
- Stay Current with Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with best practices in mental health services, including evidence-based treatments and interventions, to ensure that students receive the highest quality care.
- Master's Degree in Social Work, School Psychology, or Related Field: A master's degree in social work, school psychology, or a related field is required. A New York State license or license eligibility is also required.
- Experience Working with Students with Developmental Disabilities: Experience working with students with developmental disabilities or on the autistic spectrum is strongly preferred.
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
